Joe H. Pfister, son of Joe and Mary Elizabeth (Fowler) Pfister, was born January 4, 1935 in Lebanon, MO and passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in his home, at the age of 81.
Joe was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired truck driver. He was also a lifelong beef farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene; a sister, Josephine Rippe, Rogersville; adopted grandsons, Matt Uder and his wife, Jenna, Lebanon, and Shane Uder and his fiancé, Sarah Stunkel, Lebanon; two special friends, Reed Milliken and Cole Milliken, both of Lebanon; and several other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 in the Westside Church of God in Lebanon. Interment will be in the Mt. Rose Cemetery, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield.
The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Lebanon Animal Shelter, Integrity Health Care or Mercy Hospice.
