Bonnie Sue Chancellor, daughter of John Walter Weaver and Lovie Pearl (VanHooser) Weaver, was born June 11, 1938 near Hartville, MO. She passed away at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2016 in her daughter’s home near Strafford at the age of 78.
Bonnie was a homemaker and served in the United States Marine Corps. She also attended Bethel Free Will Baptist in Marshfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Byron; three brothers, Rev. Berlin Weaver, Everett Weaver, and Dwight Weaver; and a sister, Maxine Woodruff.
Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Deborah and Roy Collins, Strafford; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Darrow, Lebanon and Mildred Solomon; a brother and his wife, Dwane and Peggy Weaver, Marshfield; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Interment with military honors will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Elkland.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
