Anna Lee (Gantner) Cunningham, 88, Marshfield, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 in the Webco Manor, Marshfield.
Anna was born September 9, 1925 in Boonville, Missouri, to Anna Laura Meredith Gantner and Oliver Gantner. Raised in a single parent home, she lived in Boonville until she met the love of her life, Charles A. Cunningham, Jr., who survives. United in marriage November 9, 1941, they shared 72 beautiful years together. To this union they were blessed with four children; Linda Ann (Judge Donald) Cheever; Senator Mike Cunningham; Hephzibah Sue Cunningham, all of Marshfield and Beverly Kay Tate of Strafford. Counted as their special blessings are 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one and one half great-great-grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Alexander Gantner. Charles and Ann moved to Marshfield in 1989.
Celebration of Life will be Monday, May 19, 2014 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield, beginning with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and Celebration service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
