Joseph Henry “Joe” Buck, son of Carl Buck and Shirley (Shockley) Buck, was born January 2, 1955 in Lebanon, Mo . He passed away at 5:34 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014, in his home, at the age of 59.
Joe was a graduate of Conway High School and was united in marriage to Linda Thornton in 1972. To this union three children were born. Joe was a long-time dairy farmer and ran a road grader for the Conway Special Road District for seven years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Cathollic Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Buck in March 2014.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; three children and their spouses, Anita and Danny Warren, Kim and Ben Reid, and Daniel and Kasey Buck, all of Conway; his father, Carl Buck, Conway; five grandchildren, Lauren Reid, Lane Warren, Rhett Warren, Ethan Reid and Parker Buck; a great grandson, Casen Ross; a sister, Carla Caffey, Marshfield; and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2014 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Conway. Burial will be in the Reed Cemetery, Conway.
Rosary services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield, with visitation to follow. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Reed Cemetery in care of Fraker Funeral Home, P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, Mo 65706.
