Linda Lou Robinson

Linda Robinson card with Lynette's pictureLinda Lou (Shaffer) Robinson, 73, of Tulsa, passed away January 6, 2015.  Born May 15, 1941 in Downey, California; daughter of the late Lloyd and Irene (Bertoldie) Shaffer.

Linda was a pastor’s wife for 50 years.  Serving the Lord in Missouri, Iowa and Oklahoma.  She enjoyed planning and decorating banquets and always had a joyful spirit.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Sondra Biggers and Debbie Genetti  and one son, Timothy.

She is survived by her husband of almost 52 years, Ival Robinson, three daughters; Lynette Bender and  husband Bill of Tulsa, Rebecca Mosley and husband Brent, Victoria Harris and husband Wade also of Tulsa.  Five grandchildren; Jared, Drew, and Cord Bender, Gracie Mosley and Joy Belle Harris.  One sister, Carolyn Masterson of Marshfield, MO and one daughter-in-law, Julie Robinson of Springfield, Mo and an extended family of many friends and loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Southwest Baptist Missions Fund or the Clarehouse Hospice Facility.  Clarehouse Hospice is a special place that took care of Mrs. Robinson during her illness and her transition to her heavenly home.

Services will be Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Temple Baptist Church 10:00 a.m. with visitation on Monday, January 12, 2015 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Fraker Funeral Home.

 


Billie Wayne Jones

Billie Jones FrontBillie Wayne Jones, 71, of Marshfield, passed away Thursday evening, January 8, 2015, in his home. Mr. Jones was a US Navy Veteran and a retired driver for Yellow Freight.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Edna (Schneider) Jones; a sister, Virginia Jones; and a daughter, Michelle Andreatta.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanetta; two daughters,  Teresa Casey and her husband Dennis, Marshfield; and Cindy Pendergrass and her husband Glen, Pleasant Hope; two brothers, Wendell Dale Jordan and his wife Sandy, Moffett, OK; and Elbert Ray Jones and his wife Emma, Eufaula, OK; one sister, JoAnn Gibson of Wichita Falls, TX; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 5:00 pm, Sunday January 11, 2015 in Fraker Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.

Elizabeth O'Dell cropped for Marshfield MailElizabeth Margaret O’Dell passed away on January 10, 2015 at Century Pines Care Center in Ozark, MO at the age of 84.

She was born to Forrest Manary Hutton and Margaret Alice (Gordon) Hutton on August 8, 1930 in Hartville, MO.  She was a housewife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many.  She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond and her daughter Janet Sue O’Dell.  Two brothers James Hutton and David Hutton.

She is survived by two daughters; Wanda Evans and husband Jim of Nixa, Rhonda Cooper and her husband John of Marshfield.  Two sons; Scott O’Dell and his wife Lori of Ozark, MO and John O’Dell of Marshfield.  Two brothers; Forrest D. Hutton and wife Barbara of Strafford, MO  and Don Hutton and wife Faye of Marshfield.  One sister, Sharon Vestal and husband Rex of Marshfield.  Fourteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at Fraker Funeral Home Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of Elizabeth in the care of Fraker Funeral Home.

Services will be Wednesday 11:00 A.M. January 14, 2015 at the funeral home with visitation at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service.

Vicki Robertson for front of memorialVickie N. Robertson, daughter of Jerry and Mabel (Mitchell) Nilges, was born January 31, 1953 in Bridgeton, MO, and passed away at 4:28 pm Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Cox Health Center at the age of 61.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Garry Nilges; and a sister, Geraldine Nilges.

She is survived by her husband, Dwaine; two children Nicole Ann Courtney and significant other Ron Crider, Ashland; Bradley Joseph Kliethermes and his wife Sandy, New Bloomfield, MO. Four grandchildren; Logan Courtney, Alexis Kliethermes, Braden Kliethermes, and Micah Crider. Two sisters; Robyn Seat, Tulsa and Shirley Wells, Withee, WI; and many other beloved relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January  15, 2015 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Interment will follow at Shaddy Cemetery, Grovespring, MO. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday in the funeral home.

Reginald Mark Cantrell

Reginald Mark Cantrell passed away January 11, 2015 at his home in Niangua, MO at the age of 55.

He was born to Billy Joe Cantrell and Vera (Vogt) Cantrell  on March 10, 1961 and served in the Army National Guard and was a nurse.  He is a member of the Diggin’s Apostical Church

Mark is preceded by his father Billy Joe Cantrell and two brothers; Mike Cantrell and William Cantrell.

He is survived by his mother Vera Cantrell of Conway, one daughter, Amanda Snyder (Robby) of Marshfield, one son, Brandon Cantrell also of Marshfield.  One sister, Shelia Bumgarner (Jesse) of Conway, Mo and one brother, Jeff Cantrell of Marshfield and many other family members and friends.

Services  will be on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. with no visitation planned .  Friends may call at their convenience.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of  Fraker Funeral Home.

Ethel Lee Nunn

Ethel Lee Nunn, age 82, Marshfield, passed away Wednesday January 14th at The Marshfield Care Center.  She was born in Webster County on March 31st, 1932.

Ethel was united in marriage to Lowell (Speck) Nunn on May 24, 1947. Ethel was a stay at home Mom until she got her three boys raised.  She then became a loving care giver for the children of many working Moms who lined up to employ her well known service.  She later became a cafeteria cook in The Marshfield School System and spent 19 years continuing to care for the children of Marshfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Lola (Dudley) Sherrell; one son, Tom Nunn; and one brother, Ed Sherrell.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years Lowell (Speck), of Marshfield, her son Les and wife Jan of Camdenton, and her son Mike of Springfield.  She was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in Fraker Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial will be in the Marshfield Cemetery following the service.

Visitation will be from Noon until service time Tuesday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Marshfield Back Pack Program in care of Fraker Funeral Home, P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, Mo  65706.

Lowell Neal Gott

Lowell Gott croppedLowell Neal Gott, son of Herman Gott and Iva (Hodges) Gott, was born December 20, 1932 near Brown Branch, MO. He passed away at 8:25 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2015 the Christian Health Care, Springfield at the age of 82.

Neal was a longtime diesel mechanic and member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Herman Leonard Gott; and two sisters, Zelpha Bonney and Mary Keckner.

Survivors include three children and their spouses, Connie and Harry Deckard, Rogersville, Terry and Gaylene Gott, Walnut Grove, and Shelly and Joe Klein, Rockaway Beach; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Gott, David Gott and Phillip Gott; one sister, Mary Doty; and his special dog Brandy.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Visitation will be from 6-7 pm Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in the Mills Cemetery, Bradleyville, MO.

Micheal Wayne Tarr

Mike TarrMichael Wayne Tarr, son of J.K. Tarr and Georgia (Morgans) Tarr, was born November 3, 1954 in Marshfield, MO. He passed away at 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in his home at the age of 60.

Mike was a mechanic and was known in the area as “Mr. Bowtie” for his success in truck pulling. He was married to Debby McFarland for 25 years and was the mother of his children.  He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, James Kenneth Tarr; and one sister, Martha Price.

Survivors include two children, Tyler Tarr, Buffalo and Mikka Tarr, Marshfield; one step-son, Clint Price, Weyauwega, WI; his mother, Georgia Tarr, Marshfield; nine grandchildren, Curtis Davis, Drake Markgraf, Garrett Markgraf, Brady Markgraf, Lily Dodd, Allison Taylor, Rozlyn Taylor, Kylon Tarr and Kaden Tarr; three brothers, Leroy Tarr, Bolivar, Larry Tarr, Marshfield and Mark Tarr, Marble Hill; two sisters, Kay Graves, Marshfield and Karol Garner, Marshfield; and many other relatives

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2105 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Interment will follow in the Timber Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Steve Williams 2nd pictureStephen Ray Williams was born on February 9, 1963 and passed away January 22, 2015 at the age of 51.

He was in the Marines and then went into building construction.

He has left behind both his parents; Donald Williams of Springfield and Linda Ann (Ruffcorn) Slaughter of Branson.  Three sisters; Gina and Jeff Wilder and family from Springfield and Rikki and Jerry Kelley also Springfield.  Cristal Williams Montgomery and her husband Randy of Springfield.  Also a fiancé Heather Baker of Branson and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be February 9, 2015 at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery 2:0 p.m. with Patriot Guard.

Kenneth Labern Biggers

Kenneth Biggers Marshfield MailKenneth Labern Biggers, son of William Biggers and Hazel (Richardson) Biggers, was born June 28, 1935 in Marshfield, Missouri, and departed this life January 25, 2015 with his family and loved ones by his side. At the time of his passing he was 79 years old.

Kenneth spent most of his life in Webster County.  He attended elementary school at Oak Hill until 8th grade when he began working full time on the family farm. At 19, he enlisted in the United States Army and served two years in Alaska guarding the Bering Strait during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he returned home to Marshfield and began working in Springfield at Trail Liner Trucking and, later, with Grace Cabinet Shop.

On October 4, 1963 Kenneth was united in marriage to Sondra Ann Shaffer.  They were blessed with three children. During their 44 year marriage, Kenneth and Sondra were rarely apart.  Together, they were recognized in the community as outstanding dairy farmers while operating dairy farms at two different times, owned and managed a convenience store in Marshfield, a motel in Berryville, Arkansas and – most recently – The Osage Village Inn in Osage Beach, Missouri.

In his early years, Kenneth enjoyed riding and showing horses. Later, he enjoyed collecting antiques, road trips and watching basketball.  He always enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Kenneth believed in and exuded hard, honest work and expected the same of those he loved.  He provided well for his family. He was not afraid to speak his mind, yet was friendly to all. He was willing to take risks and made wise business decisions.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

He is survived by his daughter, Natalie Short and husband Kevin of Osage Beach; two sons, Anthony Biggers and wife, Danielle of Bentonville, Arkansas; Brian Biggers and wife, Abby of Springfield; ten grandchildren including Riley, Cooper, Macy, Presley, Brittany, Lilah, Tyler, Brayden, Grayson and Kennon; one brother Don Biggers of Pleasant Hope and sister Shirley Hargus of Marshfield; a special friend, Juanita Howerton; and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Services for Kenneth will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, at Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield, with burial in Marshfield Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, in the funeral home chapel.

Edith Fern Yonts

Edith Yonts croppedEdith Fern (King) Yonts, daughter of Joseph Caffey King and Louia Oshie (Kincaid) King was born March 12, 1941 and passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 in her home at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 14 days.

On February 3, 1958 she was united in marriage with Ernest Yonts and to this union three sons and one daughter were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Yonts; grandson, Justin Roderick, two sisters, Dorothy Richards and Reta Ames along with one brother, Clifford King.

Edith is survived by her husband of almost 57 years, Earnest of the home.  Two sons, Joe Yonts of Williard, MO and Bobby Yonts and Elaine Givens of Strafford, MO.  Her daughter, Kathy and David Roderick of Marshfield and one brother, Billy Joe and Gridrun King of Piedmont, AL.  Thirteen grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous friends and family.

She attended Osage Baptist Church with her husband when her health allowed and was prepared to be with the Lord.  In her spare time, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She also enjoyed reading and playing cards with her family.  Edith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.

Services for Edith will be Friday, January 30, 2015, 10:00 at Osage Baptist Church with Visitation Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fraker Funeral Home.

Lynnea Ivarene Brown

img220Lynnea  Ivarene Brown, daughter of Virgil Andrews and Audrey (Bumgarner) Andrews, was born March 6, 1922 in Marshfield, MO. She passed away at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in the Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, at the age of 92.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three baby girls; her first husband, Oscar Nell; her second husband, Herbert Brown; two brothers, Granville Andrews and Eugene Andrews; and one sister, Gladys Andrews.

Survivors include two sons, Bob Nell and Oscar Nell, both of Springfield; seven grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; four sisters, Mary Peiffer, Springfield, Doris Jorgensen, Springfield, Mildred Kilburn, Marshfield and Helen Longo, state of Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2015 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until service time Friday.

Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2015 in the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery, Springfield.

William A. “Bill” Brungard

Bill Brungard cropped William “Bill” Arthur Brungard, son of Ralph R. Brungard and Elizabeth (Waite) Brungard, was born October 20, 1939 in Beech Creek, PA.  He passed away Friday, February 6th, 2015 in his home near Marshfield, MO  at the age of 75.

He attended Blanchard First Church of Christ where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.  Bill graduated from Bald Eagle Nittney High School in Mill Hall, PA in 1957.  While attending school, Bill liked to play drums, being active in church and singing whenever he had the opportunity.

After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy.  He served as a boilerman aboard both the U.S. S. McKean and U.S.S.  Black, stationed out of Long Beach, California.  It was there that he met his future wife (Sharon Ann Wachter) of 51 years.  They married on August 24th, 1963.  Bill moved his wife and three sons to Marshfield, MO in 1971, where their daughter was later born.  He worked on the dock at Roadway Express until he retired from the Teamsters in 1994.

Upon retirement, Bill and Sharon opened Bill’s Country Store in Lebanon, MO.  Due to health issues they later moved their store to Marshfield, MO, which is now known as The Food Outlet.  Being a store owner was very fitting for him due to his jovial, friendly, compassionate, caring and fun loving personality.  Those attributes are what made him a loving husband and wonderful father.

Throughout his lifetime, he really enjoyed bowling, fishing and hunting with family and friends.  He was an avid lottery enthusiast.  He looked forward to starting his day with a visit to County Express scratching with the hope of a “Big Win”.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph R. Brungard and Elizabeth (Waite) Brungard; his step-mother, Caroline (Confer) and his brothers Robert (Bob), Frank and Larry Brungard.

Survivors include his wife Sharon, his three sons; Tracy Brungard and his wife Sonya of Marshfield, MO.  John Brungard of New London, CT, Randall Brungard and wife Cindy of Lebanon, MO and one daughter, Kimberly Brungard of Carthage, MO.  Four grandchildren; Matthew Brungard of Kansas City, MO, Jake Brungard and wife Laura of Marshfield, Mo., Amanda (Brungard) Halverson and her husband Josh of Columbus, MS.  Madelyn Brungard of Waterford, CT.  Four great-grandchildren; Brady Barker, Raelynn Brungard, Logan Brungard and Laura Claire Halverson.  Other survivors include one brother, Ralph C. Brungard Jr. and wife Karen of Guverneur, New York, two sisters; Beatrice Ann Peter and husband William of Beech Creek, PA and Dessie George of Indiana .  Two sisters-in-laws; Linda and husband Dean Geick of Marshfield, MO  and Alice and husband Richard Chrystie of Orange, CA, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Services are planned for Saturday, February 14, 2015 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations will be collected for the Marshfield Senior Center Building Fund in Bill’s name in care of Fraker Funeral Home.

 

 

James Aaron Kesterson

James Kesteron croppedJames Aaron Kesterson, age 35, passed away in his home near Marshfield on February 6, 2015.  He was born on May 17, 1979.

He is survived by his wife Nicole Marie (Miller) Kesterson and two children of the home.  Sophia Breanne Kesterson and Alexander James Kesterson. His father , Robert “Butch” Kesterson  of Marshfield and Janet Haffner and her husband David also of Marshfield.  Five brothers; Robert William Kesterson, Jr. and wife Christina, Paul Reese Kesterson and wife Belinda and David Eugene Kesterson  all of Marshfield.  Samuel Wayne Kesterson and wife Brittany of Mount Vernon, MO and Andrew Jay Kesterson and wife Cameron of Seattle, WA.  Several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

A private service will be February 10, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions suggested by the family be made to the ”Kesterson Children School Fund” in care of Fraker Funeral Home.


Janie Lynn Kinkade

Janie Lynn Kinkade was born August 13, 1956 and passed away in her home on February 11, 2015.  She was born to William and Norma (Hicks) Kinkaid in Springfield, MO.

She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Angel Kinkade and two brothers; Kevin Hayes and wife Renae, of Willard.  Jim Kinkaid and his wife, Rosemary of Springfield, MO.  Three grandchildren and a life-long friend; Donna Freeman of Springfield, MO.  She also is survived by one step-daughter; Rachel Freeman of Springfield and step-son; Tony Freeman.

Memorial Services will be March 1 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the family in honor of Janie at the funeral home.

Jeffrey Wayne Dean

Jeffrey Dean croppedJeffrey “Jeff”  Wayne Dean was born on February 9, 1963 in Springfield, MO and passed away on  Friday, February 13, 2015 at 8:55 a.m. at his home in Elkland, MO surrounded by his family and friends.  He had just celebrated his 52nd birthday with family and friends days before his passing.

Jeff worked many jobs during his lifetime and was self-employed until his illness which made it impossible for him to work.  He attended Lakeside Family Worship Center.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Jim Dean,  mother-in-law, Wanda Hathcock and two brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife Glenda, two sons; Dusty and wife Amanda Dean of Elkland and Cody and Ashley Dean of Marshfield.  Step-daughter Jessica Jordon, Stamps, Arkansas.  Six grandchildren that he adored.  His parents; father Jack Baker and wife Elaine from Springfield.  Mother; Elaine Stone and husband Richard of Marshfield.  Brothers; Rick Baker of Fair Play, Bobby Baker of Springfield, Randy Baker of Nixa, Mike Dean of Urbana and Charley Dean of Marshfield.   Two brother-in-laws; Marvin Hathcock and wife Heather of Strafford, MO and Randall and Carri Hathcock also of Strafford, MO.

Services are Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Fraker Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday, February 17, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Welch Cemetery following the service.

Mr. Rickey Dean Farr

farreditRickey Dean Farr, son of Jack Farr and Hester (Graves) Farr, was born July 29, 1951 in Niangua, Mo. He passed away at 5:10 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 in the Webco Manor, Marshfield, at the age of 63.

Rickey was a longtime truck driver and U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Rhonda; one brother, Rex Farr; and his step-father, Virgil Beasley.

Survivors include one son, Trenton Farr, Marshfield; two daughters, Amanda Archie, Elkland, and Laurie Archie, Elkland; one brother, Ronnie Farr, Marshfield; one granddaughter, Klara Archie; one nephew, Ryan Farr and his wife Jennifer, Marshfield; one great-nephew Jasper Farr; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Interment with military honors will follow in the Mission Chapel Cemetery, Elkland. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

 

Mrs. Helen Louise Hillhouse

img264Helen Louise Hillhouse, born to Vivian and Neva (Matthews) Southard on September 20, 1934 and departed this life on Friday, March 6, 2015, at the age of 80 years, 5 months, 14 days. She was united in marriage to Robert Dwane Hillhouse on November 15, 1952. To this union were born three sons: Robert Dwane, David Wayne, and Danny Lane.

She was baptized  April 4, 1958. Preceding her in death include her husband Robert, her parents, Vivian and Neva and her brother, Henry.

Remaining family to miss her dearly include, sons, Robert Dwane Hillhouse and wife Rose, David Wayne Hillhouse and wife Florence, Danny Lane Hillhouse and Sherry, and her  brother, Jerry Southard and wife LaVerda. Grandchildren, Jerry and Krista Hillhouse, Springfield; Andy and Kristina Hillhouse, Lebanon, Laura Hillhouse O’Quinn and Jared, Camdenton, Krysta Hillhouse Combs, Mount Vernon, Pete Hillhouse, Republic, MO. She also was very proud of her 7 great-grandsons and 6 great-granddaughters.

One of her proudest accomplishments was working for Sam Walton and the early years of Wal-Mart. She started with store #14 in Lebanon as a cashier, service desk, office clerk and promoted to New Store Setup Management out of Bentonville, Ark. She was given such an opportunity to travel with the Wal-Mart Corporation,  setting up new stores across the United States. Some of her best memories and stories came from all the great people she worked with and lifelong friends, that she kept in contact with. She retired in 1991, so happy to get to enjoy time with her kids and grandchildren. She loved to garden, knit, read, and cook. She was always eager to see and spoil any of the grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by so many people.

 

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2015 in the Claxton Cemetery, Grovespring, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Claxton Cemetery in care of the funeral home.

nolandmmEdward Donald Noland, Jr., Deputy Chief of the Marshfield Fire Department, passed away in his home on March 27, 2015 surrounded by family and friends.

Chief Noland served the citizens of Marshfield as city council member, an EMT for Cox Health and also served in the United States Armed Forces where he retired from the 14th Preventive Medical Reserve Unit.  He retired from Kraft Foods in 2006.  Serving the community was a passion of Chief Noland’s, along with serving his family.  He will always be remembered as the “invincible man” after having faced many challenges in the past few years and never once complaining about any misfortune.

Edward was born in Huntsville, Alabama on November 16, 1951.  He was baptized at the age of nine in Belleview Baptist Church.  He was a member of the Hillcrest High School class of 1968.  On June 28, 1986, he married Gail (Kollmeyer) Noland.  He was currently a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, having served as Elder, President, Vice President and Sunday School teacher.

While raising his children, he was active in many things including Mighty Mites, Boy Scouts, and the Marshfield football program where he video-taped endless games for several years.  He was a past member of the Red Cross, Marshfield Lion’s Club, and the Rural Fire Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Donald Noland, Sr. and Martha (Meeker) Noland.

Chief Noland is survived by his faithful and beautiful wife, Gail (Kollmeyer) Noland; their three children, Lela (Noland) Gallison, and her fiancé, Bob Bass, Las Vegas, NV,  Penny (Loe) Johns, Marshfield, and Eric Loe and his wife, Bethany (Minor) Loe, Marshfield; their five grandchildren, Jacob Gallison, Moriah Johns, Lilly Johns, Nolan Loe, and Asher Loe.  Edward is also survived by his sisters, Bonnie Forrester, Lake St. Louis, Patricia Latimer, Willard, and Judith Highfill, Republic; his brother-in-laws and their wives, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends that will greatly miss his courageous spirit and faith.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Marshfield.  Burial will be in the Marshfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday in Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marshfield Fire Fighters Association or to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
